A directive by President Mwai Kibaki, through head of Public service Francis Kimemia has been met with hostility by the prime minister who has advised all ministers to ignore it....
The premier who is also battling a case in the supreme court where he's challenging the just completed presidential election, says that the current government is legal under the 2007 National accord. He further lauded the advise by Prof. Githu Muigai who contradicted the interpretation by the CIC boss Charles Nyachae that all ministers should leave office after march 4th.
This situation has been replicated several times in the current government with different interpretations being given from the same document (the constitution) by people in authority. The implication has been leaving the Kenyan Citizenry confused on who should give directions!
